DICK DAVIS DIGEST EVERY YEAR INVITES US TO SELECT A STOCK OR STOCKS THAT WE FEEL WILL OUTPERFORM THE AVERAGES AND PRODUCE ABOVE AVERAGE RETURNS FOR INVESTORS LOOKING FOR THE ONE SPECIAL STOCK THAT CAN SHINE ABOVE ALL THE REST. WE USUALLY SELECT MICROCAPS SINCE THE RETURNS COULD APPRECIATE INTO THE HUNDREDS OF % GAIN PERFORMANCE OVER THE NEXT 12 MONTH PERIOD. WE LOOK FOR SOMETHING THAT IS "SEXY" - HAS BROAD APPEAL AND HAS THE NUMBERS OR THE POTENTIAL NUMBERS. OUR NUMBERS ALWAYS COME FROM MANAGEMENT AND OUR CALCULATIONS ARE BASED UPON MANAGEMENT'S GUIDANCE! WE ASSUME ACCURATE AND RELIABLE ESTIMATIONS FROM MANAGEMENT AND NEVER "SPIN" THE RESULTS. STOCK PICK FOR 03 DEFENSE INDUSTRIES INTERNATIONAL, INC ( DFNS OTC-BB .60) DFNS is a leading manufacturer and global provider of personal military & civilian protective equipment and supplies. DFNS's main products include body armor, bomb disposal suits, bulletproof vests and jackets and "Internationally patented" BALLISTIC WALL COVERING which is a blast-resistant armored wall fabric designed to prevent injury from explosion. Customers for their products include: IDF, NATO, UN Peacekeeping force and many other law enforcement agencies and special security forces. Recently, DFNS formed a joint venture with Smith & Wesson (SWB-amex), a 150 year-old handgun maker in order to broaden and grow the homeland security market. This agree- ment between DFNS & SWB is an exclusive worldwide license agreement for armored vests and blast-resistant wall covering. According to management, rev and earnings est. for 02 and 03 have been revised. For the year ending Dec 02 rev will come in @ around $ 11 million with a net income/sh of .055. DFNS anticipates explosive growth for 03; expected 15% organic growth, lucrative venture with SWB ( $8 million), from protective wall covering orders of at least $8 million in sales- this yields a rev est. $33 million and net income/sh of .13 (based upon the issuance of additional shares pending from equity financing being conducted by KPMG for $10 million). If we assign a conservative PE of 20- based upon managements 200% rev growth for 03- a stock price of $2.60 or a 333% appreciation potential exists. THE "BIG BANG" FOR DFNS IS THE BLAST-RESISTANT ARMORED WALL FABRIC. THIS DIVISION HAS THE POTENTIAL TO "BLOW-THE-DOORS-OFF" ALL CORP ESTIMATES. THE POTENTIAL OF THIS PRODUCT BEING INTEGRATED WITHIN THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS OF HIGH SECURITY INSTALLATIONS WORLDWIDE IS STAGGERING! WE SEE LITTLE DOWNSIDE RISK @ CURRENT LEVELS AND VERY ATTRACTIVE UPSIDE POTENTIAL NEAR-TERM AND BEYOND. WE ANTICIPATE MANY ADDITIONAL PRESS RELEASES FROM THE COMPANY DURING THE NEXT MONTHS. THIS SITUATION IS TRADING NEAR ITS 52 WEEK LOW, IS RELATIVELY UNKNOWN AND UNDER-FOLLOWED. WE ARE TOLD THAT DICK DAVIS WILL BE RELEASED EITHER JAN 20TH OR JAN 27TH NATIONWIDE-- WE PRODUCED A RESEARCH REPORT ON DFNS DURING EARLY NOV 02 -PLEASE REVIEW THE DOCUMENT ON OUR WEBSITE FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND READ OUR DISCLOSURE STATEMENT.
